On August 30th, 2012, I went down to the CNE for the sole purpose of watching one of my favourite musicians perform.  I had previously seen Herman's Hermits back in April of 2009, in Clearwater Florida, and yet again, they did not disappoint!  Here are some of my favourite shots:

Marco Carta

Marco Carta is an Italian pop/rock singer.  He won the 2009 San Remo festival, and on July 2, 2012, I had the pleasure of seeing him at Exhibition Place in Toronto.  He was the opening act for Umberto Tozzi at the Chin Picnic and he was really great.  Here's a few snaps.

High Park Cherry Blossoms: 2012

One of my favourite signs of spring in Toronto is when the High Park cherry blossoms come out to play.  The first time I went to see them was in 2010 - but now that I've moved into the High Park area of the city, I've made it tradition to go every year.  This year, the weather was kind of iffy.  The weekend called for rain, and most of the week was a bit chilly.  I ended up going on a warm, but windy mid-week night, and I was surprised at the amount of people that were at the park that night.  Without further ado... here's some beauty to bask in:

Lounge Cat @ Ruby's Elixir, St. Petersburg FL

Lounge Cat is a super smooth & cool band from Central Florida.  They were recommended to me as a potential band for my upcoming wedding, and I was lucky enough to catch them on the last night I was in town, earlier in March.  They are super fun & entertaining, and had the whole place hopping.  Here's some shots:
